Gday Just bought 2008 punto Dynamic 1.3 Multijet 5 Speed manual with 65000km on the odometer for my 60km daily commute. This one has leather seats and dual sunroofs (ves) and is a great commuter. I can now see why fiats have a large following and am now a convert. It is now time to change oil and filters. Can anyone tell me what type and how many filters I need (or send me a link of the right filter Hi and welcome as youve probably figured out the 2008 was still termed a GP here in the UK europe later cars becoming punto EVO then punto.
Ive not owned a 1.3 Mjet BUT the engine is a fiat unit commonly fitted to other small fiat and GM cars ( vauxhall opel) you MAY find you can buy the service parts cheaper from opel GM outlets than fiat. Not too sure Haynes will almost certainly varesecrazy good advice on manual and part sourcing options.
The opportunities that come from having shared technology (between platforms and makers) hadnt occured to me. Thanks Humour excellent advice on clutch bleeding trans and engine mounts. Ill be checking out the gear shifts and if 2nd 3rd are funky Ill loom into the mounts. A hydraulic clutch.

Its called DET grande punto official manual.so im guessing its real. Its the official fiat Grande punto workshop manual used by fiat uk and dealerships to fault find etc. Thats the italian name for it. Its downloaded but it keeps saying insert cd (even though its in) so im going to have to make a nocd crack for it. Should be done in a day or 2. Fiat UK use online (updated daily) manuals.
As far as i can work out it is a workshop manual. Its got an update button on it.but i dont think that will work as like you say you need a password to get to that site. Hi gang Just recently (last night) purchased my N Reg punto Cab for a bargain price Ive bought a load of stuff from halfords to do a basic service.(i.e. Fuel air oil filters sparks leads oil etc) The Haynes manual says that it doesnt support cabriolet or 1600 engines Anyone any ideas on where to obtain a servicing manual also - the engine is 78000 miles - anything major I should be concerned about (its been serviced all the way up to 73000 miles - dont know if the cambelt has been done) matt All four genuine fiat punto (MK1) manuals are available on CD from fiat.
Hello i think you may be better off with as Custard Boy said the Bravoa manual as that covers the 1.6 (1581cc) engine. And possibly a punto Mk1 manual which would hellp you with dashboardelectricsbodywork as most is the same as the normal punto mk1 (like mwahs) obviously excluding the electric roof.

I think we all talked about this before and the general conclusion at the moment is that the car is too new.so no service book.only the fiat on-line book and that access is per month and quite expensive. Dealers have manual on cd.
