Energy & Sustainability This is my FAVORITE review activity I have created for my Earth Science Course. It covers all of the units in depth and allows students to really assess where they are with the content. The study guide is 18 pages of tables, diagrams, and fill in the blanks for students to complete. I have included a complete answer key (18 pages) so you can see how I expect my students to answers the questions. I spend the last week of the semester (five 90-minute class periods) completing this study guide with my students to prepare for the state exam. I have had tremendous growth with my students and I know part of that is my students going into the exam feeling confident due to this study guide. This study guide was originally made to accompany my Earth Science Interactive Notebook but by no means do your student need the notebook to be successful.

Environmental Science Semester 2 Study Guide

The text is formatted so that it can be glued into a one subject notebook. The study guide is aligned with the NC State Standards but can be used in any classroom.

Interactive Notebooks How I use these in the classroom: My students and I take notes together using the document camera on the right hand side of the notebook. Then the students do the activity on the left to reinforce the new material. I have had a lot of success with the interactive notebooks. It keeps the students organized, they love them, and test scores have increased drastically.
